Goals:

1. Install Flash 9
2. Install the JDK and set up as plugin
3. Know issues with some plugins

• Why are almost no common plugins provided with firefox?
• List some of the plugins that you can install
• What is involved in getting mpegs/etc to play?
• What are codecs and why are they an issue?

• Install Java (and the plugin, Jedit)
• Linux Firefox Plugins(choose flash)
• Then you can test out your MCC WebCT account
• Also check out some popular Firefox Extensions, like UserAgent, NoScript, VideoDownloader
